The new meaning of art & moving images

Prepared for the new decade to start on 1 January 2020, Videochannel will be essential part of NewMediaFest 2020 - the big retrospective show in an exchange between virtual & physical space.

New focus - new place for curatorial activities

the re-organisation will re-activate VideoChannel and its new focus on the contexts in which the curatorial activities are embedded in - all external curators who joined The New Museum of Networked Art since 2004 will have then their place in VideoChannel.

VideoChannel will coordinate all activities around art and moving images

giving - through the extensive re-organised collections a kind of representative overview over the creation of digital video art since 2000

VideoChannel is a breath of excitement

opening new dimensions in the perception of art & moving images.
