During 2010, all activities of VideoChannel Cologne will be part of NewMediaFest’2010 - 10 Years [NewMediaArtProjectNetwork]:||cologne - global heritage of digital culture.

Invited by Rui Guerra CologneOFF V - Taboo! Taboo?
5th Cologne Online Film Festival - launch on 13 November 2009
http://coff.newmediafest.org -
will screen three festival programs in the framework of “unCraftivism” - a project context by Rui Guerra running on
12 & 13 Dezember at Arnolfini Bristol/UK.
Christmas on VideoChannel is promissing to be the hightlight at the end of the year 2009, featuring a specific form of film and video creating - “Found Footage!” spotlighting 50 selected artists exploring the “Found Footage” universe.
On occasion of the launch of CologneOFF V - 5th Cologne Online Film Festival, VideoChannel is releasing on 13 November the November/December video art feature, focussing this month again on German video art.
After the solo feature “Johanna Reich” in July 2009, the November edition includes in total 15 video works, ranging from art shortfilms to art video, thus a broad bandwidth of different video art forms can be experienced.
In order to make a type of filmic work using partically German language, available to the global audience, the works containing dialogue or text are subtitled in English, which is hopefully not restricting the impression of the art works too much.
The featured artists/directors are
Philip Matousek - Anna Porzelt - Amorea Cosmalion - Jonas Ungar - Dina Boswank - Nilgün Serbest & Tobias Kurtz - Sibylle Trickes - Susanne Wiegner - Maya Schweizer - Amit Epstein - Anna Hirschmann - Johanna Reich - Sarah Adetola
